For a gate beyond router range, a solar 4G camera may be practical if cellular reception and sunlight are adequate. For a driveway with reliable WiFi, compare solar WiFi models and their supported recording features.
Design the view around the entrance
Position the camera to see approaching activity while reducing direct glare from headlights and sun. Consider mounting height, detection distance and night lighting. Wide coverage and more lenses do not by themselves guarantee face or number-plate recognition.
Keep the panel and connection reliable
A gate shaded by trees may be a poor solar site. Test connection and detection at the actual location. Confirm whether two-way audio and alerts meet your needs; a security camera does not automatically operate a gate motor or function as an access-control system.

Frequently asked questions
Will a solar camera read vehicle number plates?
Do not assume this. Identification depends on distance, angle, lighting, speed and the exact camera; dedicated plate-recognition equipment may be required.
Can AUREY help me choose a camera?
Contact AUREY with the mounting location, available WiFi or mobile signal, power source and required coverage. Ask about the exact model before ordering.
