Remote viewing without WiFi is possible through a suitable 4G SIM camera. A wired CCTV system can also record locally without WiFi, but remote access generally needs an internet connection.
Local recording and remote viewing differ
No WiFi does not necessarily mean no internet: a 4G camera uses mobile data. Some cameras or recorders can save footage locally during internet outages, depending on the model and configured storage. Notifications and viewing from another location normally need connectivity.
Choose the connection you can maintain
Use 4G where cellular coverage is available. Use a wired DVR or NVR system where cabling and power are practical and local recording is the priority. Check internet, storage and backup-power requirements separately rather than using wireless as a shortcut for all three.

Frequently asked questions
Can I view a camera remotely with no internet at all?
Ordinary app-based remote viewing requires a connection between the camera or recorder and your phone. Local recording alone does not provide remote access.
Can AUREY help me choose a camera?
Contact AUREY with the mounting location, available WiFi or mobile signal, power source and required coverage. Ask about the exact model before ordering.
